I'm Genevieve, the founder and owner of Weld on Walnut. I created my permanent jewelry, business with elegance, class, and simplicity in mind. I have always been someone who wears clothes and jewelry that are simple.  I have had the mentality that less is more. I wanted my permanent jewelry business to represent those things, I wanted it to represent me.
I created Weld on Walnut with my family in mind. My family has always been super supportive and I’ve always pushed me to want to achieve more.

GENEVIEVE
I am the founder and owner of Weld on Walnut. I grew up in the eastern side of the state of Wisconsin and moved to the western side after graduating from college. I am a full time 4th grade teacher in a small school. I love my students, community, and job! I am married to the most amazing and supportive man! We have one son together and is he is the big why behind Weld on Walnut.
In my free time I love reading, cooking, making sourdough bread, watching Hallmark movies, & drinking a good glass of wine!

What is permanent jewelry?
Permanent jewelry is taking a piece of chain and welding it on, so it is claspless, essentially making it permanent. Permanent jewelry stays on until you either want it off or it breaks and falls off, which can be for many years. I have options of chains and you pick the chain you like, I measure it on your wrist, anklet, or neck and then weld it on!
Can it be removed?
The chains applied during this process are thin enough to last but not thick enough to cause harm to the wearer in the event that it becomes caught on an object. If the jewelry needs to be removed for any reason, it can be removed with jewelry snips and re-welded if desired.
What happens if it breaks?
That is no problem! The first repair is on us! Just set up an appointment. After that each repair and re-weld is $9 plus tax. We do not cover any product that is either loss or damaged. If a product is beyond being repaired, a new piece may be needed to be purchased.
Where are you located?
We are a mobile business. We provide services from Milwaukee to Dubuque and everything in between. We are booking parties, pop-ups, events, or individual appointments. Contact us to chat!
Does it hurt?
Nope! The spark that is generated during this process is NOT of high temperature.
